Mother-Daughter Loved

She looks at me with doe-like eyes.
They are soft and loving, just like she is.
Behind them, I know is a world of understanding.
She has walked every inch of her young life with me.

We are mother-daughter.
Paired in this universe and together forever.
When she smiles, I am happy.
Her sadness brings me sadness as well.

We share this journey, she and I.
She sings, I applaud.
I cry, she understands and makes me laugh.
We laugh together and plan of things to come.

She is my favorite life gift.
I often feel humbled to be so blessed.
I hope that she feels the same.
We are mother and daughter loved!
